• Administer injections and medications

• Check patient’s vital signs

• Sterilize medical equipment and supplies

• Conduct basic laboratory tests

• Prepare patients for x-rays

• Perform electrocardiography (ECG)

• Take blood samples

• Change dressings and remove stitches
